“I think anything where we don’t have to live in fear of what comes next is something we could all learn to live with,” said Time Bomb. “Where a dinosaur doesn’t have to get humped by two dogs like they’re in a tag team cage match going for the title just to make the rent.”
Terrifisaurus thought about it for a moment. For her, it always boiled down to one simple thing, finances. No matter how bad life got, as long as she had the money for the finer things she could deal with anything. “Do you know how much I make? Have you seen my condo?”
Time Bomb continued. “Where Panda doesn’t end up with a Hershey’s party mix shoved up his @$$ and is beaten like a minority pinata at a traffic stop.”
Terrifisaurus in her own world and ignoring Time Bomb said, “Or the couch? It really ties the room together.”
“I’m pretty sure that’s a world we can all adjust to,” said Time Bomb. Hoping he had finished making his point to TF.
Terrifisaurus was still stuck on the money. In the world that TB described would there still be a need for a person like her in her profession. “But what would I do? Where do I start in that world? how would I afford my new bathroom remodel?”
Time Bomb eyes started to gaze down at the lower half of TF’s naked prehistoric body. “Terrifisaurus…”
“Yeah?” Terrifisuarus responded. Wondering if he had an answer to her bigger questions.
“You would start by using more of that cream. That doesn’t look like something you want to spread.”
